Pakistan: Women take up martial arts in Karachi following spate of knife attacks
Karachi’s Martial Arts Academy began offering special self-defence training to girls, following multiple knife assaults that took place in the last few weeks, footage filmed on Friday shows.

Since September, some 13 women have been reportedly stabbed in Karachi. It is believed that a knife-wielding man on a motorcycle wounded women walking on the streets of the Sindh capital. Local police claim to have arrested the prime suspect behind the series of the knife attacks.
