Indian schoolgirls perform martial arts during the National Girl Child Day
A group of Indian schoolgirls have stunned the crowd with their perfect display of martial arts during the National Girl Child Day.

The Muslim girls aged between 10 and 16 are performing ‘Vovinam’– the Vietnamese martial art, at one high school in Hyderabad. They’re showing off their skills by using swords and sticks, during school hours. The National Girl Child Day is observed across India to raise social awareness and consciousness towards girl children while promoting gender equality in society. India loses an average of seven-thousand girls every day through abortions because of a traditional preference for sons.
